Our next meeting is on Thursday Nov 12th. Rob Potterton will talk about New Zealand Plants, People and Gardens.

In 2019 he was invited to present a number of talks to garden groups in New Zealand, this talk shows a small portion of that trip, including plants in the wild and in the gardens of the wonderful people visited.

The photo is of Doctors Point Garden and you can find out more about this and other gardens at https://www.gardens.org.nz/

We always need plants for our regular monthly sales table so if you have been doing some splitting or re-organising of the garden remember you can bring your surplus plants to sell (split 50-50 with the Club). Please label your plants and add a second label with your name and the price you want to sell at.

If you are an RHS member don’t forget that the Dorothy Clive Garden is one of the Partner Gardens and is free to visit over the winter months, other mortals will have to pay.

Things are happening at Trentham Gardens too as the formal gardens are being redesigned with climate change in mind and its worth checking back every few months to watch the new garden slowly take shape.
