Monday June 13th to RHS Bridgewater. This is a Members Only trip and you will have had the details with your membership forms. There is now a waiting list as the bus is full. (Photo from RHS Bridgewater website)
Monday 27th June – Friday 1st July in conjunction with the Hardy Plant Society – a five day holiday to North Yorkshire. This promises to be a lovely trip but places are filling up and bookings are now open to the public. Travel by coach, Dinner Bed and Breakfast at The Bridge and Spa Hotel and nine visits are planned to gardens and nurseries. Thursday 15th September to see the Autumn colour at Ashwood Nurseries and John’s Garden with a guided tour. Cost:- £20 to include admission to the garden, tour, coach, and drivers gratuity. The coach will leave at 9-15am from The Stone House Hotel, Stafford Road, Stone, ST15 0QB arriving in time for coffee (at your own expense) with the tour due to start at 11-0am. For lunch you can use the Ashwood Restaurant or bring a packed lunch. We hope to arrive back by 4-15pm traffic permitting. Members will have priority, seats will be reserved on payment received, the BOOKING FORMS will be available at the meeting on Thursday 14th April so bring your cheque book with you. JULY UPDATE – there are still 6 places left on the bus – book now!
2022 ANNUAL PLANT SALE
Saturday May 7th – the Annual Plant Sale will be held at St Michael’s Hall, Lichfield Street, Stone from 9.30am – 1.30pm
Members and Friends –
WE NEED YOUR HELP, could you please split up and pot up some plants, sow a few more seeds ready for the sale. The sale price of the plants is divided 50/50 between the provider and the club this helping to fund speakers for our club meetings. Plants where possible need to be delivered (via Helen) the day before the sale and need to have “TWO LABELS” one with the plant name and the second with the price and the sellers name. Please give me a ring if you need more information/help and to arrange delivery.
2022 ANNUAL OPEN SHOW
Sadly it has been decided that at the present time our Annual Open Show will not be held in 2022.
