ANNUAL PLANT SALE
Our Annual plant sale, general garden plants and vegetables provided by members, is held in May. See the Photo Gallery page for pictures of the Hall before the Sale in 2017.
The Annual Sale is held at:-
St. Michael’s Hall, Lichfield Street ST15 8BB
Light refreshments are provided and admission is FREE.
Our first trip of the year took us to Middleport Pottery – home of The Great Pottery Throwdown in time for coffee and biscuits (included in the price)and then on to Keele University to see the National Collection of Flowering Cherries . This was followed by a visit to Whitmore Tearooms for tea and cream scones. See the Photo Gallery page for photos of the trip.
9th – 11th June
A three day holiday visiting RHS Wisley, some of the gardens during London’s Open Gardens Weekend and Oxford Botanical Gardens.
A bus trip to Abbeywood Gardens and Plant Fair. A whole day of plants with time to explore the grounds of Abbeywood. The house is not open. Abbeywood Gardens have just been listed as one of the RHS ‘Gardens to Visit’
We will visit Wightwick Manor (National Trust) with tea/coffee on arrival, a tour of the Manor and time for a wander around the gardens. Then on to John’s Garden at Ashwood Nursery to see the Autumn display at this stunning garden. There will be time to shop!

2018 ANNUAL OPEN SHOW
Our 32nd Annual Chrysanthemum and Dahlia Society Open Show will be held on Saturday 15th September at
Walton Community Centre,
The Show opens to the public at 2pm and admission is FREE. Come and see some wonderful displays.
Flowers are on sale throughout the afternoon. . . .
. . . . for collection at 4pm.
Plenty of free parking on site.
