With personalized service and nationwide delivery, we provide quality plants to suit projects of any scale. We also welcome visitors to explore our RHS partner garden and enjoy a family-friendly day out surrounded by natural beauty. This internationally acclaimed, RHS partner garden at the Dingle is the lifetime work of Barbara and Roy Joseph. The 4.5 acre garden is run by her grandson Duncan and his wife Clare, with the support of the Joseph family and knowledgeable team at the adjoining nursery. Barbara has created a secluded and beautiful area within mid Wales’ rolling hills, which serves to inspire visitors all year round. The garden is especially well known for its colour-themed and unusual planting which includes lakeside, lawned and mixed bed areas that showcase a wide and unusual range of shrub, tree and herbaceous planting. The stream fed lake and the huge array of plant species make this sheltered dingle a haven for all types of wildlife. It offers a perfect opportunity to go bird-watching, take a relaxed stroll, entertain the children while they search out hiding places and dens, enjoy a picnic lunch, or simply gain inspiration for that next gardening idea.
The Derwen Garden Centre is a family run business, where we pride ourselves on our extensive range of plants, and on our knowledgeable staff who are always on hand to offer advice. Our relationship with the Dingle Nurseries means we are unique as a garden centre, having access to a huge range of plants (we can source almost anything – try us!), and at prices you just won’t believe. But, it doesn’t stop there, come and explore our themed gardens for some inspiration, leaving the kids to get lost in the maze. Our restaurant serves a range of local drinks alcoholic or not, with daily specials and homemade cakes, as well as a classic snack menu. The shop has something for everyone and anyone, from air cleaning house plants to woolly socks, and a range of quality sundries.
